Edie Wasserman, the wife of late Hollywood studio mogul Lew Wasserman passed away Thursday at the age of 95. According to grandson Casey, the woman who was a mogul in her own right, passed of natural causes. Her philanthropy work in which she raised millions of dollars will live on through all her notable charities and causes especially the Motion Picture and Television Fund. Her and her long time husband of 66 years Lew, head of MCA/Universal Studios who taught everyone from Steven Spielberg to Jerry Weintraub how things work in Hollywood, were forever known as “the king and queen of Hollywood.”
I was lucky enough to meet the legendary couple at West Hollywood Italian favorite Dan Tanas, and they could not have been more lovely while eating their lamb chops.
