Carlos Santana Proposes on Tour

Musician Carlos Santana proposed to acclaimed drummer Cindy Blackman Friday night in Chicago during Santana’s Universal Tone Tour. He called his lady love up on stage, he proposed marriage, she accepted, they kissed and the audience broke out into cheers. Blackman is a very cool jazz and rock drummer who has recorded and toured extensively with Lenny Kravitz. Santana’s most recent release was the 2010 reissue of ‘Supernatural’ as a 2-CD Legacy Edition featuring 11 previously unissued bonus tracks in celebration of the classic nine-time Grammy-winning album’s 10th anniversary. Carlos Santana had that smash hit “Smooth” with Rob Thomas of MatchBox Twenty, where he played that infectious and incredible guitar melody.
