TV mogul Dick Wolf (pictured here) just hired the veteran actor to play the Deputy D.A. in L&O’s newest spinoff, and he’ll join Skeet Ulrich who plays one of the lead detectives. Molina is just coming off a Tony-nominated run on Broadway in ‘Red,’ and is currently in Bruckheimer’s ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,’ and Ulrich had a running role as a killer on ‘CSI: NY’ last year. Skeet Ulrich, who starred in ‘Jericho’ but only appealed to a small audience, has a great chance now of finding a hit with Molina attached because he is the perfect L&O audience. NBC’s Law & Order: Los Angeles begins filming August 2nd and premieres in September
