The stars were shining on East Harlem the other night when the Seinfeld’s, Russell Simmons, Bethenny Frankel and Yankee Nick Swisher’s fiancé and Gossip Girl Joanna Garcia, walked the red carpet at the new Target Store opening tomorrow. Local veteran Hip Hop artist Doug E. Fresh performed while Top Chef Master Marcus Samuelsson, who has a new restaurant opening in the neighborhood, showcased his new cooking line. Now Kmart, the only other big retailer in the city with two locations, has some major competition.
