NOTAR IS THE REAL MUSIC DEAL

Mike NOTAR is a musician on a mission. He’s the total package of MC, music-maker, trained trumpet player and a star on the stage, and he’s about to give the music biz a run for its money. I had a brief chat with him recently and he told me he’s been around the music scene ever since he was a kid watching his well respected father, a classically trained jazz musician play around the house. He learned fast and things happened. Like superstar Adam Duritz of The Counting Crows seeing him, signing him and taking him on tour with him. Appearing tonight at the MGM Foxwoods on the last leg of his 25- city tour with The Counting Crows and Augustana, Notar’s road to success hasn’t been an easy one but with his catchy tunes, skills and style it sure looks like it has been.
