80’s music sensation George Michael, who has reached the epitome of fame in the music business, was sentenced to eight weeks in jail for driving under the influence of drugs and possessing cannabis. The former Wham singer was warned last month that he faced a possible prison sentence when he admitted to smoking marijuana before getting behind the wheel of his Range Rover and later crashing into a storefront near his London home. Michael, seen here at court pleaded guilty and was taken directly to jail, amid smiling in disbelief as the Judge sentenced him. The talented singer has been in trouble with the law since 2007 on previous cannabis and driving offenses.
