Paramount’s new picture ‘Morning Glory’ which revolves around a morning talk show is exactly the star vehicle that Rachel McAdams needed to drive her right to the top of the Hollywood echelon. And that is exactly where she landed on press conference day at NY’s legendary Waldorf Astoria – sandwiched between co-stars and seasoned movie stars Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton. The down to earth Ford looking debonair and dressed chic in a casual blue suit and who sauntered into the press room right before the conference started looking to grab a bite like the rest of us, probably doesn’t even know or care that he’s the third highest ranking movie star in film history right behind Tom Hanks and Eddie Murphy. And then of course there was coolest woman ever Oscar winner Diane Keaton whose films have also grossed over a billion dollars in North America, dressed to kill in high heeled shoe boots who told us reporters that she puts on CNN first thing in the morning and loves her some Anderson Cooper. Diane, who looked amazing had to be told, so Gossip Gal told Diane how amazing she looked and in return got a great big kiss blown right in her direction. Hey, someone had to do it. McAdams, who was dressed in a tight pink dress, and whose star is rising as we speak was quite shy even though at the ripe young movie star age of soon to be 32 has already appeared in three of the best movies ever including ‘Mean Girls,’ ‘The Notebook’ and ‘Wedding Crashers.’ The laugh out loud funny, witty and engaging comedy was shot in NY and shows gorgeous shots of the city including Fifth Ave, Columbus Circle, Bryant Park and media favorite hot spots Elaine’s, 21 Club and B. Smiths. Even hard core rapper Fifty Cent makes an appearance. ‘Morning Glory’ opens tomorrow and also stars Patrick Wilson, Jeff Goldblum and John Panko. Go see it.
