Howard Stern’s tall and gorgeous wife Beth Ostrosky, who is an avid animal lover, along with her bulldog Bianca, attended the ASPCA’s annual Blessing of the Animals ceremony at Christ Church on Park Ave recently. Hosted by famed Gossip columnist Cindy Adams looking better than ever since recovering from an illness months back, who sat right up front surrounded by her two Yorkshire terriers Jazzy and Juicy and greeted all dogs and their owners on their way into receiving their blessing. Yes, I said blessing. As the ASPCA describes it, the ‘Blessing of the Animals is a heartwarming ceremony where pet parents of all faiths and ages are encouraged to bring their furry four legged friends to be blessed.’ I did hang around for some of the ceremony and it was real serious and I could feel hearts warming by the seconds. Each attendee eagerly pranced into the Church, pet in toe and headed for a seat where they got serenaded first by the lovely vocals of The Brooklyn Youth Chorus Academy and awaited their blessing. Besides Beth and Cindy, veteran attorney Barry Slotnick and TV host Kelly Choi all received blessings too. I asked Beth, who was upstaged by her huge bulldog Bianca (pictured) what her favorite thing to do with Bianca is and she told me, “We all like to watch TV together.” Of course my follow- up question was what is her favorite show and she concluded, “she’s kind of digging ‘Celebrity Rehab these days.’ Seriously, you cannot make this stuff up. www.aspca.org
