Danny Meyer who brought us fine dining with his most recent Maialino in NYC’s Gramercy Park Hotel, will now open North End Grill a new American eatery in Manhattan’s Lower West Side, Battery Park City towards the end of the year. This will be Meyer’s third foray into the North End area of Battery Park City with new outposts of Blue Smoke and Shake Shack already in the works. The restaurant and bar which will feature refined grill cooking with an emphasis on seafood, will mark the return of Floyd Cardoz- executive chef/partner of recently closed Tabla who will serve as Meyer’s executive chef and partner.
