Strap yourself in, the 11th Season of NBC’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ begins Sunday, March 6 at 8p ET and promises to be the most volatile ever. The ‘Celebrity Apprentice” press conference call was like one big love fest with mogul/host Donald Trump, Atlanta Real Housewife Nene Leakes and legendary rocker Meatloaf and according to them it’s because this is the most diverse cast ever. Said outspoken Nene Leakes who Trump thinks is “smart, fantastic, tough and going to be a really big star,” “I am very passionate. We are all very passionate about what we are doing. I really don’t like phonies and that bothers me and the moment somebody’s phony I’m gonna lose it.” So, how did Nene get along with the cast that includes Hope Dworaczyk, La Toya Jackson, Star Jones, Marlee Matlin, Lisa Rinna, Niki Taylor, Dionne Warwick, Gary Busey, Jose Canseco, David Cassidy, Richard Hatch, Lil Jon, Meat Loaf, Mark McGrath and John Rich? “I came out of the show with friends and enemies. I went in keeping it real and you know when you have someone sitting around all day telling you all their friends are doctors, lawyers and A-list celebrities, I mean come on please. I was pushed and taken there and I really got in Star’s face. She is very different and a piece of work honey.” Trump chimed in, “There is no love lost between Nene and Star. (Everyone chuckles) These two will never be great buddies.” Added Meatloaf, “I don’t know that Star will ever be one of my great friends either.” It sounds like Star Jones is up to her old shenanigans again causing a ruckus. Nene, who was approached to do the show last season turned it down because, “I was afraid of Mr. Trump.” I didn’t know if he was going to be real enough and now I know that he is a very real person. And I like that about Mr. Trump.” Trump, who sounds like Nene is one of his favorites concluded, “She’s going to be a monster star, trust me I know.” Apparently, the cast is full of high strung personalities and because of a physical altercation that took place Trump even had to sneak out and call the police. When asked what went down Trump responded, “You’ll just have to watch.” Yes Donald and we will.
