Box office hot shots and father & son duo Will and Jaden Smith, who wowed us in ‘The Pursuit of Happyness,’ are teaming with Sony Pictures again to start filming an untitled sci-fi adventure thriller set 1000 years in the future telling the story of a young boy and his estranged father who explore vacant earth after their ship crashes there. Written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, Sony is thrilled to have the Smith family and Shyamalan working together and both will of course produce, as well as wife and mom Jada snagging a producer credit. Jaden last starred in Sony’s ‘Karate Kid’ which grossed $350 mil and sister Willow is attached to Sony’s ‘Annie’ remake with rapper Jay-Z. Sweet.
