Kate gets more and more like her amazingly funny comedic actress mom, Goldie Hawn. Warner Bros brings us a really good new romantic comedy produced by none other than two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank, ‘Something Borrowed’ starring Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin as besties whose friendship is tested over a love triangle. Kate Hudson, who surprisingly does her best work ever, plays the conceited and self-centered bad girl to Ginnifer Goodwin’s loyal and dependable good girl. However, the lines of good and bad definitely get crossed. Shot in NYC and the Hamptons, the movie besides reminding us New Yorker’s that the long-awaited summer is on its way, makes for an entertaining and atypical story. Longtime soap actor Colin Egglesfield, who has the charm of a young Tom Cruise plays the dashing man in the middle, along with John Krasinski and Steve Howie from Showtime’s ‘Shameless’ who totally boost the eye candy. ‘Something Borrowed’ opens Friday, May 6.
