The hugely talented and cool Daryl Hall started a free monthly Web show ‘Live from Daryl’s House’ in 2007 after the idea of “playing with my friends and putting it up on the Internet,” came about. The series which has gotten high praise from every music influencer around features the multi- Grammy winning songwriter along with a special guest who jam to each other’s tunes, joke around and take part in a short cooking segment added in for good measure. The popular show which has had stars such as Goo Goo Doll’s Johnny Rzenick, Smokey Robinson, Dave Stewart, Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy, and Matchbox 20’s Rob Thomas to just name a few recently took the jump to live performance with a show at The Borgata in Atlantic City featuring the equally talented and cool Todd Rundgren. The intimate crowd at The Music Box within Borgata was eating up every second of the two rock stars doing a little Daryl music, a little Todd music including ‘Private Eyes,’ ‘Can’t We still Be Friends,’ uber popular ‘Kiss On My List,’ and the infectious ‘I Saw The Light.’ Daryl in jeans and a leather jacket coupled with Todd and his white and black hair was just what the doctor ordered to kick off the Memorial Day Weekend in a familiar place not far from each others home towns in Pennsylvania.
