A very handsome looking Prince William and his new wife Catherine looking gorgeous and really skinny hosted The Foundation Polo Challenge held at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club in Carpinteria, California on Saturday to a star-studded crowd. Attendees included Rob Lowe, Zoe Saldana, Molly Simms, Chef Giada De Laurentiis who catered the meal, and many other VIP’s.
The very athletic Prince William, with his new wife watching, scored four goals as his team went on to win the overall match. The crowd couldn’t get enough of the Royal visitors and even in a spontaneous moment rushed onto the field during the excitement.
Prince William wore a white shirt, trousers and blue blazer while his wife adorned a silver and marble-gray hand-painted silk dress by British designer Jenny Packham.
All VIP Tickets cost $4,000 with a chance to rub elbows with The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who arrived by helicopter, while the less expensive attendees splurged $400.
Said Prince William, “My father, the Prince of Wales, and my brother, Harry, were as green as that grass outside when I told them I’d be here today,” William told a reception where guests sipped champagne and whiskey. “Catherine and I have had a busy few days – so the prospect of being able to let loose this afternoon is wonderful for me.”
