Restaurant and nightlife guru’s Eugene Remm, Mark Birnbaum and Michael Hirtenstein who bring us the fab Abe & Arthurs, SL and Tenjune , are looking to cast another spell on the Meat Packing District with their new seafood restaurant CATCH coming Sept 19 to the corner of 13th Street and Ninth Avenue.
Having already solidified their rep in the trend-setting arena, EMM Group’s CATCH is a bi-level contemporary seafood concept with an enclosed rooftop lounge looking to foster a more relaxed and social approach where food prepared by Top Chef winner Hung Huynh will hit the table in a steady stream of shareable cuisine. Sounds cool already.
Yummy sample menu items include:
-Citrus Scented Striped Bass with Artichoke-Mushroom Ravioli and Mushroom Cream
-Sauteed John Dory with Lobster mash, Truffle Puree and Lemon Brown Butter
-Seared Scallops with Tri-color cauliflower, Cauliflower puree, raisins, pistachios, brioche croutons and tamarind brown butter.
