Saturday night, Kim Kardashian, dressed in an elaborate Poison Ivy costume, hosted the Midori Green Halloween Party at LAVO in New York. It was off the hook and not even the all-day rain and snow storm could keep NY’s elite away.
Surrounded by revelers, a gorgeous looking Kim who is filing for divorce from husband Kris Humphries after only 72 days, held court with PR friends Jonathan Cheban dressed as Batman’s sidekick ‘Robin’, and Simon Huck.
VIP guests at the exclusive soiree sipped specialty Midori cocktails, such as Kim’s favorite, the Midori Super Sour (named Poison Ivy’s Elixir for the occasion), and sampled Halloween themed desserts, including Carmel Lady Apples, Kalmyrna Fig Pumpkins, and custom Baked by Melissa cupcakes. And that of course followed Lavo’s delicious passed trays of pizzas, mini crab cakes, steak crostini, and more.
Other guests I spotted included Entourage creator Doug Ellin, Today Show’s Jill Martin, and DJ MOS had the crowd grooving on the dance floor, amidst oversized leafy trees suspended from the ceiling, green-lit black pumpkins, a steaming cauldron and bejeweled mummies.
For those in need of a sugar fix, the event even featured a green couture candy bar for guests to go trick-or-treating.
I can tell you this was the hottest party in NYC on Saturday night.
