Comedy star Jonah Hill must be totally freaking out that not only was he nominated for a dramatic actor Oscar for his supporting role in ‘Moneyball’ opposite Brad Pitt, but he also calls him and Angie friends.
The most famous acting couple on the planet were spotted hanging out at Hill’s birthday party recently and Brad was quoted as saying he is thrilled that Jonah was recognized in the movie.
Said Hill, “Getting into a Bennett Miller film written by Aaron Sorkin and starring Brad Pitt — to me that was me winning the lottery, and the nomination is just a nice touch.” It is so tough as a comedic actor for anybody to see you as anything else but that. I really want to be perceived as a drama actor as well. I hope this film and nomination helps that in the future.”
Oh, I’m sure it will Mr. Hill.
Be interesting to see if Jonah, who is headed for super stardom, can hang on to his core group, or moves on to Hollywood starlets. Jonah, who grew up with Dustin Hoffman’s son Jake, is rumored to be close friends with and or dating his daughter Ali, and spotted spending the holidays with them in Hawaii.
