Beatles music legend Sir Paul McCartney sat down for dinner at NYC’s newly renovated Benihana restaurant this past weekend at 47 West 56th Street.
McCartney and his three guests stayed true to his vegetarian proclivity, noshing on a hibachi meal of spicy tofu steak, accompanied by cucumber rolls, and Benihana’s signature “Garden Delight” dish – a medley of asparagus and other assorted fresh garden vegetables, steamed on the grill and finished with a white balsamic vinegar.
it will take over the first floor of the building that it occupies, adding a sushi and cocktail bar that will provide a draw for Midtown drinkers
The NYC restaurant closed its doors last September for a design overhaul and transformation into a two level restaurant complete with downstairs sushi lounge.
