Probably getting her inspiration from her granddaughters, legendary clothing designer Diane von Furstenberg famous for her wrap-around dresses, recently showed off her new line for GapKids, which just hit U.S. stores and will be released internationally on March 28.
Ever since the recession hit and high-end designs hit the skids, designers have been chomping at the bit to design for the masses instead of the classes.
Versace ran to H&M, Jason WU and Missoni dove into Target, Martha Stewart has been with Kmart for some time, and the list goes on.
Now, cut to Diane von Furstenberg. The designer is aiming for the kids market and designed a collection of little girl’s clothing for GapKids.
You better hurry before she sells out. I have a wrap-around dress for years that I still adore. GO: online
