From major comedy producer Judd Apatow, HBO will debut ‘Girls’ starring ‘Tiny Furniture’ Filmmaker Lena Dunham in the new series about a group of girls in their early 20s.
Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna are trying to figure out life. They’ve been living in New York for a couple of years, but they’re still not sure what they want –from boys, from each other, from themselves. And things aren’t getting any clearer.
Think ‘Friends’ meet Sex And The City.’
The cast of GIRLS includes Jemima Kirke (“Tiny Furniture”), Allison Williams (“American Dreams”), Zosia Mamet (“Mad Men”) and Adam Driver (“Angels in America” on Broadway, HBO’s “You Don’t Know Jack”).
