Someone had to take the fall for the NY Knicks losing MANY games, so it was Head Coach Mike DAntoni against moneymaker and glam superstar Carmelo Anthony.
Since firing or resigning (depending on who you talk to) Mike D’Antoni, the Knickerbockers have hired Jim Todd and Darrell Walker to join interim Head Coach Mike Woodson.
Todd is reunited with Woodson, after serving as an assistant coach with him in Atlanta and Walker brings more than a decade of coaching experience, with most recently being assistant coach with the Detroit Pistons.
Even though D’Antoni can be credited with ‘Linsanity’ by giving the bench-warmer a chance to play and lead the Knicks to many wins, the court talk revolved around Mike D’Antoni not getting along with hot shot player Carmelo ‘Melo’ Anthony.
The Knicks have since gone on to win three consecutive games since losing Mike D’Antoni.
