When it comes to her relationship with much younger beau Casper Smart, Jennifer Lopez is keeping it both personal and professional.
After all, her main squeeze is serving as creative director for her upcoming summer tour with Enrique Iglesias.
In an exclusive sit-down with Ryan Seacrest, the American Idol judge revealed how the couple manages to strike just the right balance.
“I don’t think we’d work together if we didn’t work well together,” Lopez said. “It has to be easy or it’s not worth it.”
Naturally, the other hot topic, besides her love life, is whether or not she’ll be back for another season of Idol.
“I don’t know,” she admitted. “I have some movie things in the works and I have the tour. I love the show and it hurts me to think about not doing it, but I’m just taking it kind of day by day. We’ll see.”
Sounds like a “ca–ching” situation.
Lopez added that her decision ultimately hinges on the fact that she is a mom to 4-year-old twins, Emme and Max.
“It’s the biggest part because I never want to take on too much where they feel cheated in any way, shape or form. So everything kind of has to work,” she pointed out. “When they tell me, ‘You need to make a decision right now,’ I go, ‘OK, let me think about it.’ Then I just say, OK, what are all the factors, what’s the pros and cons and just try to make the best decision for my kids.”
