Spain meets Argentina at this intimate and casual Latin American restaurant and lounge for a perfect evening of tasty tapas, silky wine and sexy background music.
Way cool and cozy La Zarza in NY’s hip East Village hood treated us to a four year anniversary celebration tasting of a cheese and meat platter to write home about, almond stuffed dates wrapped in bacon with a balsamic glaze, and some goat cheese croquette bite that according to the handsome tattooed owner will “incredibly just melt in your mouth” which did, and almost had me off the vintage bar stool in scrumptious surprise.
Take a date or go with friends and then you can head right to the downstairs lounge to keep the night going.
