Two-time Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey took a break from the big screen to attend Saturday’s US Open Men’s Match and then made his way to tennis star Andy Murray’s press conference.
Surprised that Spacey or anyone else famous for that matter wanted to meet him, a bit star struck, the two spoke.
“The Usual Suspects‘ is one of my favorite movies,” Murray said, “so that was cool seeing him. I haven’t really met that many movie stars before. I had a little chat with him, asked him if he played any tennis. He said he’d injured his hand on set in the series that he’s doing just now, so he couldn’t play at the minute.
He said he’d been to Wimbledon. He’s lived in London for 10 years and hadn’t been to the US Open since he moved over, so it was the first time he’d been here in a while.”
