On the heels of her mother Dina Lohan’s embarrassing and mortifying interview on Dr. Phil where she seemed extremely wasted on something and out of it, Lindsay Lohan has found trouble again. She allegedly hit someone while pulling into a NYC parking garage sometime after midnight.
The pedestrian who was allegedly and reportedly struck by Lindsay Lohan’s car in her latest hit and run case has accused the actress of slurring her words and reeking of alcohol during a verbal confrontation after the accident.
Whether this story is true or some chef leaving work at a restaurant nearby at around midnight is looking to make up another drunk driving story about Lindsay, here’s what I have to say. Lindsay, LOSE THE PORSCHE, GET A DRIVER, OR STAY HOME!
The troubled actress was driving her Porsche Cayenne into a hotel car park in Manhattan when she collided with Jose Rodriguez as he crossed a walkway, allegedly hitting his knee.
Reports suggest a passenger in the car inspected the damage as Lohan walked into the nearby Dream Hotel on West 16th Street where she was attending an event in the early hours of Wednesday.
Soon after, she was booked for leaving the scene of the incident and subsequently released without bail after being handed a desk appearance ticket.
Rodriguez was admitted to the nearby Bellevue Hospital where he was treated for tendons, and the chef has now spoken out about the run-in insisting he did not recognize Lohan at the time of the collision.
He remembers detecting the smell of booze during a brief conversation he had with her immediately following the accident and says “I asked, Why did u do that? She said, “You have to get out of the way.” She told me I had to move. She was slurring. She smelled like alcohol real bad. I didn’t know who she was until people told me. I don’t know why she couldn’t just do the right thing.”
New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly tells the NY Daily News Lohan was not thought to have been intoxicated at the time of the arrest, although cops did not perform a breathalyzer test.
Surveillance cameras are now being examined.
