Jodie Foster who has been way supportive and protective of 22 year old young hot shot actress Kristen Stewart and her cheating shenanigans, will have the favor returned and be presented by young Kristen with the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 70th annual Golden Globes ceremony on January 13th.
Foster and Stewart played mother and daughter in the 2002 thriller ‘Panic Room’ when Kristen was a mere 12 years old.
The two-time Oscar winner is also slated to direct the indie drama “Money Monster” which follows a TV personality whose insider trading tips have made him the money guru of Wall Street.When a viewer who lost all of his family’s money on a bad tip from the money expert decides to hold him hostage on air, ratings soar as the entire country tunes into this media frenzy.
Casting starts immediately and production is set to start early next year.
Foster previously directed “The Beaver,” “Home for the Holidays” and “Little Man Tate.”
Next the superstar will be seen opposite Matt Damon in Sony’s sci-fi epic “Elysium,” which hits theatres March 1.
