TAUK

The NYC-based rock/fusion quartet TAUK will throw a Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert at Spike Hill in Brooklyn on Saturday, November 24th.

All funds raised at the event will be matched by sponsors and then donated to All Hands Volunteers (www.hands.org), an organization already helping families in New York and New Jersey rebuild after the storm.

With band members from Long Island and Staten Island, TAUK feels  inspired to act in the wake of the storm.

Good guys.

When Sandy tore through their hometowns, the band was in Alabama on tour with Perpetual Groove. “We returned home to a state and city in desperate need of help. Many have lost their homes entirely and thousands more remain without power. Realizing this, we felt the best thing to do would be to put a show together to benefit those still in need.”

Entrance into the show is free but a $10 donation is encouraged as well as for attendees to contribute coats. Attendees who bring coats or give the suggested donation will receive a free beer.
