The Writers Bloc hosted an exclusive conversation with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor and actress, social activist and philanthropist Eva Longoria at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills Saturday.
Each ticket to the event included a copy of Justice Sotomayor’s new book, My Beloved World which discussed her rise from the Bronx housing projects to her appointment to the Court, and her unlikely journey and the challenges she has faced.
Longoria, a staunch supporter of President Obama, wore a black bodysuit with open-toed heels for her chat with the Judge.
