Queen Elizabeth‘s husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh attended The Commonwealth Day Observance at Westminster Abbey in London without the missus due to her falling ill a day earlier.
Britain’s 86-year old Queen, who is the head of the Commonwealth, was due to attend the service but cancelled probably because a week earlier, she spent a day in the hospital due to symptoms of gastroenteritis, an inflammation of the lining of the stomach and intestines.
