The personalities came out in full force during the Met Gala‘s after party at the Boom Boom Room in the Standard Hotel in NYC.
According to E! News, former besties Madonna and Gwyneth kept their distance throughout the evening’s affairs.
The Material Girl spent most of the party “close to her boyfriend and designer Riccardo Tisci” and opted to steer clear of interacting with her one-time BFF, Paltrow, at all.
Another twosome who gave each other plenty of space was Jennifer Lawrence and ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.
The former couple were both at the Boom Boom Room but spent their time with different guests. According to another insider, she “hung out mostly with designer Raf Simmons,” while Leonardo DiCaprio and Gerard Butler were in awe over the Oscar-winning actress who left after 15 minutes.
Ex-boyfriend Hoult, however, partied the night away on a banquette with model Abbey Lee Kershaw. Kershaw did have a message for all, at one point pulling up her dress to reveal the words “gun control” written on her stomach.
Nicole Richie partied the night away next to Alexander Wang, while co-chair Rooney Mara toasted to a successful evening with Givenchy designer Tisci just a few booths down.
Amanda Seyfriend also wearing Givenchy, changed out of her beautiful gown and opted for something more comfortable to party in: an over-sized t-shirt by the same designer.
Meanwhile, across the room, Katy Perry was seen looking “miserable” according to a source, sitting next to ex-boyfriend John Meyer‘s BFF BJ Novak and Girls star Allison Williams.
And noticeably absent from the evening’s hottest party? Kristen Stewart. The Twilight actress opted to spend time with Robert Pattinson rather than attend the Boom Boom bash.
