Bravo looks to be making some changes at their stellar franchise The Real Housewives.
An insider told E! News that Real Housewives of Orange County is about to experience a shakeup within the cast come season nine.
Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino are reportedly getting fired from RHOC and won’t be appearing next season.
“Neither will be returning for season nine. The feeling is both of their journeys on the show have come to an end,” says our insider. “Bravo is constantly looking at the casting and dynamics and it felt like time for a change.”
Rossi joined Orange County (which was the first in the Real Housewives series), in season four, while Bellino came on board in season five. But now the network allegedly has decided to nudge them out in favor of new blood.
“Producers are currently meeting with new women,” our insider reveals.
Bravo had no comment.
Orange County is not the only Real Housewives series to experience casting changes. A source said that Taylor Armstrong will not return to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a full-fledged castmember. In fact, she’ll barely appear at all.
“Taylor is not returning as a Housewife,” our source said. “You’ll see her here and there in a few scenes, but that will be the extent of her participation.”
Real Housewives of Orange County wrapped up its eighth season in the beginning of August.
