Tuesday night, Henri Bendel hosted the Food Bank For New York City Ad Campaign & Photo Exhibit unveiling in New York City for September’s Hunger Action Month.
Treat House, a gourmet crisped rice emporium that recently opened on the Upper West Side, teamed up with food and lifestyle expert and author Katie Lee to create an exclusive Dark Chocolate Candied Orange Treat with ten cents of every treat purchased being donated to Food Bank For New York City in celebration of its Go Orange campaign this month.
Also there: Chef Mario Batali, Chef Anne Burrell, Chef Eric Ripert, Selita Ebanks, Melanie Dunea, Kelley Bensimon and Sylvia Weinstock.
The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness and support for the 1.5 million New Yorkers who rely on Food Bank and its citywide network of charities.
