CAT Footwear staged a presentation and runway show at New York City’s oldest whiskey distillery, Kings County Distillery, in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Celebrating the launch of CAT’s Autumn/Winter 2013 collection, the event offered a preview of the brand’s upcoming Spring/Summer 2014 collection, as well as introduced Cat’s “Earthmovers Campaign”, which highlights a selection of inspiring individuals (curated by Cat Footwear) who are doing big things and moving the earth in their everyday lives.
The hip Brooklyn soiree had guests brought in via trolley and then treated to whiskey tastings, while grooving to a soundtrack provided by DJ Gene. Singer/Songwriter Tyler Hilton surprised the crowd at the end by performing a few songs on the runway including ‘Loaded Gun’ and ‘Kickin My Heels.’
All the boots and shoes were displayed throughout the rustic and industrial styled distillery making it a perfect backdrop for the Caterpillar brand.
