Away from diaper duty, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge handsomely attended the The Royal Film Performance of ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ held at the Odeon Leicester Square.
Shortly before the end of the screening, William and Kate were informed of Mandela’s death and a moment of silence was held right after.
Said the Prince,”I just wanted to say it’s extremely sad and tragic news. We were just reminded what an extraordinary and inspiring man Nelson Mandela was. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family right now.”
