At a recent Oscar celebration dinner given by Alfre Woodard and Rémy Martin, one of the hit cocktails of the night was the O’de Vie, named in honor of guest Oprah Winfrey, which featured Rémy Martin VSOP, peach purée, lemon juice, simple syrup and club soda, served in a wineglass.
Recipe:
O’ de Vie
10-15 Mint leaves
2 sprigs of Thyme
2 oz Rémy Martin VSOP
1.5 oz white peach puree
0.5 oz lemon juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
1.5 oz Club Soda
Muddle mint and thyme in a cocktail shaker. Add the Rémy Martin VSOP, peach purée, lemon juice and simple syrup. Shake over ice. Strain into a wine glass over ice, top with club soda and garnish with a sprigs of mint.
