On the heels of sweeping awards season with the incomparable ’12 Years A Slave.’ Brad Pitt is wasting no time filling his slate.
Paramount Pictures and Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B just announced that writer/director Adam McKay has come aboard to adapt and direct “THE BIG SHORT:” Inside The Doomsday Machine about the housing and credit bubble of the 2000’s, based on the acclaimed writer’s best-selling book.
This reunites Brad Pitt who starred in and produced ‘Moneyball’ written by Michael Lewis which earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.

McKay most recently co-wrote, produced and directed the sequel “ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES,” for Paramount Pictures. The film has grossed over $170m globally.
