camOn the heels of promoting her new book ‘The Body Book’ with Rachael Ray, and then taking gourmet cooking classes with her celeb friends in Napa Valley, Ms. Diaz made time to show off her skills.

Diaz took part of  “Kitchen Cameo”, a column in Every Day with Rachael Ray, where celebs tell the editors what they crave, and get a cooking assignment in return.

Cameron, currently promoting hew new movie ‘The Other Woman’, whipped up some Fish Tacos with Summer Salsa, which the editors picked out just for her.

On her favorite cuisines: “I like Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican and American. But I’d be up for trying any kind of cuisine.”

On foods she avoids:  “I stay away from creamy cheeses and prefer to eat gluten-free.”

On how she would rate her kitchen skills: “I’d say I’d make a pretty good sous chef.”

On how much time she likes to spend in the kitchen: “You can never spend too much time in the kitchen!!!”

On what she likes about cooking: “I love doing the prep work before creating the actual dish. So fun!”

On how she interpreted the taco recipe: “I used tilapia instead of halibut.”

On what she thought of the finished product: “With simple ingredients and simple steps, these will blow your taste buds away!”
