Longtime working partners Regis Philbin and Michael Gelman spent time at Tavern on the Green’s Grand Opening Gala in Central Park the other night.
Gelman was Philbin’s TV producer at ABC for many years and considered to be “like a son” to the legendary TV star.
The iconic restaurant, nightclub and catering hall which was forced to close back in 2009, just reopened with the help of $40 million from the city, Philadelphia restaurateurs Jim Caiola and David Salamat and chef Katy Sparks.
