No more scrubs for Katherine Heigl.
After leaving hit ABC show ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ years ago, Heigl, mother of two and married to musician Josh Kelley, hasn’t been heard from much.
She had a string of big screen romantic comedies that were so-so, but the talented, appealing and outspoken actress is back at NBC in what should be a thrilling and suspenseful new series called ‘State of Affairs.’
Pictured at the NBC upfront event at NY’s Javitz Center Monday, Heigls looks ready for another hit with co-stars Leslie Odom Jr., and superstar Alfre Woodard.
Captivating Heigl plays a haunted CIA analyst who’s battling her demons by day and working hard to catch terrorists and serve the President by night. That includes bringing the terrorists responsible for her fiancé to justice.
State of Affairs is scheduled to air on Monday nights, starting in November taking over for The Blacklist, which is supposedly going on hiatus and returning in 2015 in its new Thursday night time slot.
