Begin August 19thTalented Syrian clarinet musician Kinan Azmeh from Damascus, brought it all home with his touching piece intro promoting peace and understanding at the World Humanitarian Day seminar at the United Nations Tuesday.

The day which honors the commitment and dedication of aid workers on the frontlines in some of the world’s most dangerous conflicts, was moderated by The Huffington Post’s  Alyona Minkovski with a panel including Pernille Ironside currently working in Gaza, Rapper/Actor Emmanuel Jai a Lost boy of Sudan and former child soldier, and former NYPD Ken Payumo who has served in several overseas mission.
