Influential, outspoken and forceful, 80’s & 90’s pop star Sinead O’Connor, one to never play by anyone’s rules but her own, donned a fluffy pair of pink slippers on her way to RTE studios in Ireland .
The musician who shot to fame with mega-hit ‘Nothing Compares to U’, recently spoke her mind to Q Magazine and said regarding some of today’s pop stars, “It used to be people wanted to make music because we’re all f**ked up and degenerate and maniacs and there was no other way of expressing ourselves. Now, they don’t even care about the music, it’s about how they look, and fame. Female musicians have been hoodwinked.”
