Quvenzhané Wallis became the youngest actress to ever receive an Oscar nomination for Best Actress in “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” but that fame hasn’t gotten to the head of that tiny titan.
Now, the 11-year old who’s about to star in the remake of “Annie” alongside veterans Jamie Fox and Cameron Diaz, partnered with the Banfield Pet Hospital to host a book reading at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan.
In front of an intimate crowd, Quvenzhané read aloud Banfield’s first ever children’s book, “My Very, Very, Very Busy Day,” inspiring kids to take care of their pets and teaching them to be responsible pet owners.
The young star who told the crowd she may want to be a Veterinarian one day, also personally autographed and handed out books for everyone to keep.
