Former ‘Jersey Shore’ star Michael ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino arrives at Newark’s federal court with his fiancée Lauren Pesce to face tax fraud charges, after prosecutors said he and his brother, Marc Sorrentino, did not properly pay taxes on $8.9 million of income.
Sorrentino and his lawyers will go up against New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman, the same prosecutor responsible for getting Teresa and Joe Giudice major jail sentences.
The 32-year reality star had his arraignment now as opposed to September because the court allowed him to film a new reality show “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality TV Stars” for soon-to-be married couples.
Lawyers reportedly entered non-guilty pleas and trial is set to begin December 2.
