A fabulous artsy crowd came to the opening night reception of ‘Edvard Munch – Master Prints’ at The National Arts Club.
As directed by Dianne B. Bernhard in collaboration with the John Szoke Gallery, this is the second installment of The Offices of Fine Arts fall program which runs until November 1.
The free exhibition will show 20 of the famed Norwegian masters unique graphic works, alongside pieces from Picasso and other American contemporaries, including Max Bohm, Bolton Brown, Frank DuMond and Birge Harrison.
Although Munch created some of the most visually arresting and psychologically powerful images in the history of art, his fame rests largely on one painting; ‘The Scream’.
