Matt Damon just confirmed to E! News that he’ll be reprising his role as CIA assassin Jason Bourne once again.
Rumors had surfaced that he would never return but apparently has had a change of heart.
While promoting the resurrected HBO series Project Greenlight in Los Angeles last Friday, his longtime bestie Ben Affleck mat have accidentally spilled the beans when asked about what the two had on their agenda.
“Well, [Damon’s] going to be doing a Bourne movie next fall when I’ve just completely lost any semblance of physical fitness. So….,” Affleck told E! News exclusively.
Really?
“Yes, next year,” Damon responded to E! News when asked for clarification. “It’ll be in 2016 when the movie will actually come out. [Director] Paul Greengrass is going to do another one and that’s all I ever said. I just needed him to say yes.”
Sounds like Greengrass had a change of heart too.
This will be their third collaboration in the Bourne franchise making this the fifth film.
