The Upper East Side was booming last Monday when Amaranth owners Paola Pedrignani and Francois Marchand hosted a spectacular party for over 500 attendees celebrating 15 fabulous years of their beloved restaurant.
With a dedicated fan base of New Yorkers like Miranda Kerr, Orlando Bloom, former president of France Nicolas Sarkozy and the late great Joan Rivers who lived down the street, guests hit the dance floor to “party like it was 1999″while Violinist Sarina Suno – aka the Violin Diva – and Saxophonist Nadir Simon kept everyone highly entertained throughout the evening.
A delicious Mediterranean menu of signature tasting plates like the Napolean of Eggplant with Buffalo mozzarella and roasted tomato, and the grilled Atlantic Salmon with asparagus and dill sauce hit all the tasty notes, accompanied by frozen cosmos and Bellini’s.
Guests left with goodie bags filled with gifts from Amaranth, Angelo David Salon, Danesi Coffee, and Terra Media olive oil.
Attendees included: Anne Shearman-Betts, Anne Rapp, Brenda von Schweickhardt, Carmen D’Alessio, Catherine Petree, Cece Cord, Dori Cooperman, Dr. Steven J Pearlman, Jean Shafiroff, Jillian Miniter, Jonathan Marder, Lauren Roberts, Margo Manhattan, Mark Simone, Mary McFadden, Neal and Debbie Stroka, Paola and Arnie Rosenshein, Rebecca Rose Woodland, Robert Gladstone (Madison Equities), Sherry von Korber-Bernstein, Si-Yeon Kim, Tony Fortuna (Owner of T-Bar Restaurant), and Yaz Hernandez.
