Steve Stanulis’ one-man show, “Sex & the Shield” will premiere at 42West (514 W. 42nd Street) on Saturday, February 28th at 8pm.
The play about Steve Stanulis, a former NYPD officer by day and Chippendales dancer by night, will be brought to the off-Broadway stage for the first time with additional performances slated for March 7th and March 14th.
Laden with personal accounts of street cop action and a stripped down all-out wild side, the play is an amazing but true tale that can’t be missed.
100% of the proceeds from the performances will benefit the Silver Shield Foundation to help the families of fallen NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu.
Stanulis, who also served as a bodyguard for the rich and famous with Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz, Michael Stipe and Tobey Maguire among his clients, will treat guests to a first-hand account of two very different worlds.
“Sex & the Shield” will premiere two years after Stanulis’ last off-Broadway show, “Stripped The Play,” opened in NYC before heading to Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas in 2012.
