Jacob Langfelder presents Broadway the Hardway’s ‘FREEDOM’ — An Immersive Concert Celebrating the Music of George Michael and WHAM! on Monday, March 30th at 8pm at 42West (514 West 42nd Street).
The concert experience will star Broadway’s John Arthur Greene (Matilda) with Emmy Award Winner Lance Horne, Kristin Olness (Cabaret), and The Glamazons (America’s Got Talent) with additional casting to be announced. Tony Award Nominee Michael Moritz Jr. will music direct.
This one night only tribute to the music of George Michael and WHAM! will span his catalogue from the breakout classics Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go and I Want Your Sex to the rough trade dance hit Outside.
The evening will feature immersive video graphics on a 34 foot LED wall curated by JD Urban and Burt Rock as well as Shibari (Japanese suspended rope bondage) by Marcus Likesit.
Strobes, flash, and fog will all be used in this epic evening.
The doors open and DJ begins at 8pm. The show starts at 9pm. Tickets and VIP packages range from $25-$75.
