Along with David Schiff, Jean Shafiroff, and Wendy Federman, Countess Luann DeLesseps of Real Housewives of New York City, co-chaired the the 33rd Annual Fred & Adele Astaire Awards. at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.
The Countess and actor Holt McCallany introduced Jack Rothweiler, President of the Fred Astaire International Dance Studios who discussed the company and introduced the performance choreographed by Steven Powell.
Said the Countess to Huff Post: “I love the Astaire awards. I knew personally Douglas Watt and I am a friend of Patti Watt. I am here to support children and dance.“
This year’s show hosted by by two-time Drama Desk Award nominated actress Christina Bianco, which recognizes outstanding achievement in dance on Broadway and in film each season, honored Broadway legend Joel Grey and mega-producer Harvey Weinstein.
