It was LADIES NIGHT for Emmy-nominated actress Laverne Cox from Orange is the New Black at the 5th annual Lower East Side Film Festival.
Cox was among the judges for this year’s festival.
The Film Festival’s LADIES NIGHT showcased films by women, about women, and for women. Women Directors include: Life in Color by Katharine Emmer and A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story by Sara Hirsh Bordo, who will close the festival on June 21st.
Laverne’s favorites remain a secret till all winners are announced at the Closing Night Party, June 21st.
